LIMAVADY COLLEGE
We hope that you will find the course which meets your needs. We will continue to develop a range of recreational courses throughout the year: If you have any ideas for courses not formally on offer please contact us and we will explore their potential. Limavady College is committed to developing its adult education provision and supporting the concept of lifelong learning by encouraging individuals and groups to participate in training and education both to improve their job prospects and to enrich their life chances. The College is a member of The Roe Valley Adult Education Community Forum which exists to make formal and informal learning opportunities available to all adults in the local community. It seeks to identify and respond, in partnership with others, to the learning needs of individuals and the community. Individuals and community groups can freely access the services of the Forum which has secured financial support from European sources to facilitate their aims. Courses supported in the past include both recreational ones and those leading to qualifications. Special Community Initiatives like "Read to Succeed" have been set up in response to requests from local primary school principals or community groups. We have used many out-centres all over the Limavady Borough and beyond for the delivery of such courses in the past and we are continually forming new links throughout our catchment area. We are always keen to extend our outreach programme and would be delighted to hear of any ways in which we could be of assistance. |
